All of the above dates have been confirmed with Cuckney CC.

Training 2011 and 2012

The training programme is now complete for this winter. Close to 30 umpires and prospective umpires have successfully undertaken Level 1 and Level 1a courses at Cuckney.

If you are considering beginning umpiring then courses will again be held next Autumn and Winter overseen by ACO Nottinghamshire & ACO Derbyshire. There will be courses at the New Inn, Winsick, Hasland which are scheduled to begin in October 2011 and at Cuckney Cricket Club January 2012.

Both courses will be for approximately 10 weeks in duration with an exam at the end (depending on weather conditions, if need be the courses will be extended if there are poor travel conditions etc caused by adverse weather). The courses are organizied by the ACO Nottinghamshire Branch & the ACO Derbyshire Branch. There will be a small cover charge of about £1 per session.

Nottinghamshire Cricket urgently needs Umpires and Scorers.

Are you a recently retired cricketer?  Or a cricket lover who wants more involvement in the game?  If so, you could help Nottinghamshire/Debyshire Cricket and get yourself the best available view of the game. Consider becoming an umpire or a scorer.  Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire has a serious shortage of cricket officials and if you train now you could be playing an important part in local cricket in the 2011 season.

Training courses for umpires will begin in October 2011 organizied by ACO Derbyshire and in January 2012 organized by ACO Nottinghamshire. There will also be courses for prospective new scorers and for experienced scorers wishing to improve.
